Who writes them

Every guide on The Smooth Edit is written and edited by the VIFERA team, the people behind the trimmers and foot care we sell. We're a women's grooming brand from Surat, on Amazon since 2025.

Where the facts come from

Health and skin facts come from medical sources we name at the end of each guide: the NHS, the US National Institutes of Health, Cleveland Clinic, the American Academy of Dermatology and published studies. Prices and product details come from our own store and are checked on the date shown.

Health topics

Our guides are general information, not medical advice. When a guide touches on a health condition, like foot pain, it says when to see a doctor. When a doctor reviews a guide, their name and qualification will appear at the top of it.

Our own products

We make the products we recommend, and we say so. Each guide links to the products it mentions, with the price on the day it was checked. We don't name other brands.

Updates

We update a guide when a fact, a price or a date changes, and show the date of the update under its title.
